Buick executives have been watching this community for years. They've also made improvements to their vehicles based upon what they've read here. They are listening to you.

This discussion will serve as a quick and easy way for Buick executives to gauge interest and help make decisions moving forward.

As an Envista driver, you should state exactly what you'd like to see enhanced, added, and/or omitted from your Buick Envista.

Any posts that don't stick to the subject matter will be moved elsewhere.

Do to the Envista what you did to the Verano in its sophomore year: add an unexpected engine option like the 1.5T or the 2.0T and beef up the front and rear suspension to further make the Envista unique in its class.

I think the 1.2T should be confined to the base trim with the 1.3T as the uprated engine for the Sport Touring trim, leaving the Avenir to feature either the 1.5T or 2.0T. (as much as I'd love to see the 2.5T under the hood a) it probably won't fit b) it would be nose-heavy and c) it would be too expensive as a business case for Buick's entry-level model.)

No need to up the number of gears; the 6T45E will suffice.

I don't own an Envista but it's on my shortlist and I'm keen to see how it evolves over the next few years while I keep my Verano Turbo.

Not sure if larger motor wouldn’t strip out the tranny. Usually such things create chain reaction of failures.

1. Add Front Driver and Passenger Side wheel well (foot area) lighting.
2. ST badges on front grill and sides should be Red-on-Chrome, not Black-on-Chrome.
3. Use better sound/vibration inside lower hatch (AKA Liftgate Trim Panel) then the recycled foam in a black paper bag). This would reduce the hollow space NVH
sound.
4. Consider polyurethane bushings on the Watts Link on the ST.
5. Illuminate the small cargo storage space below the USB/12 Accessory port on the front lower console.
6. Send me some Buick Swag (cup, hat?) for all these great ideas 😉

I currently don't own an Envista, but I am on here researching any problems before buying. I can add that I would like to see a rear seat air vent and center arm rest. Other than that, I have read that the sunroof is very small. But maybe it has to be for rigidity purposes. I have also read that replacement parts are hard to come by, but TBH, I didn't look at the dates on those posts, so that might be a non-issue now.
FYI, I currently drive a 2019 Buick Regal Sportback. I like driving it, but just had the rear differential replaced under warranty at 52k miles, so I am hoping it got replaced with an upgraded design. (Part number is different.) Just not sure I can give up the power that my Sportback has though. More MPG and less expensive gas would be nice though. I can tell you that I get around 26 - 27 mpg combined with my Sportback, which is not bad, but it takes Premium fuel.

New here but wanted to add the following:
Well, I liked my 2024 Envista Avenir up to today but I am now disappointed in GM. I had (at the time) around 15k kilometres(9000 miles?) and developed a brake pulsation. Dealership said rear rotors are warped and not covered under warranty. I have been getting a runaround and just 15 minutes ago, I called GM only to be told brakes are only covered for 4-6 months/12000km (6000mi). Car was only purchased Sept/24.
Currently own this Envista, 2023 silverado, and 2010 camaro (bought new). I have never had an issue with any of my vehicles at 15000 kilos so this is not a drivers issues and further, a lot of theses kilos are highway driven
Person I talked to, told her this is my last GM vehicle over this minor issue and think this is a poor policy on GM’s part. Was thinking on trading the silverado on an Acadia but I guess my business will now have to go elsewhere like the rest of the vehicles. Thanks GM for nothing I guess as they must have thrown out goodwill on top of everything else. I worked at that dealership and when GM had issues with the old Malibu’s and others, they had a up to 30000km and brake policy. Then that changed to the factory 3yr/60000km warranty and now to this horrible 4-6mth/ 12000km. C’mon GM! Thought you were better that!!

Stop with the big price increases. There was one in March 2025 and now another big one coming for the '26s. $27K for a nicely equipped base model is asking too much. It's supposed to be a slightly upmarket entry-level car. And STILL no rear wiper/washer?

Not Envista specific but I think a question for Buick is why not shatter some paradigms and deliver the industry a shift toward DIY. More specifically...
1. Stop storing the VIN into vehicle components which only serve to add costs to owners by requiring the vehicle to be taken to a dealer to have the VIN configured so that a replacement part will permit the vehicle to start.
2. If a vehicle-specific file is needed to replace a part (such as a calibration for a PCM, BCM, etc), permit the owners access to an online database to download those files and the loader-program needed to write the file to the part which is being replaced. This practice is common to many consumer & industrial products on the market today. Automotive owners who pay substantially high portions of their income to own one of your products should have the same right to repair.
3. Such a reform would serve to increase a manufacturer's market share because members in forums such as this one would be singing your praises from the mountain tops.
4. Look through the posts in this forum and there is one common theme which is centered around a desire to be able to fix issues on their own vehicle to reduce the cost of ownership. Why not address this customer desire?

I am floored that my Avenir has adaptive cruise control. Impressive for such an inexpensive car.
Kudos to Buick on:
-automatic transmission. Would not have bought with a CVT.
-key fob remote start
-heated steering whell
-on-star functions
-awesome LCD display
-beautiful styling
-lift back design
-rear cross traffic / blind spot monitor

What I wish it had in order of want:
-turbo with 200hp
-ventilated front seats
-front camera for curbs
-sport mode for transmission
-electric passenger seat adjustment
-multiple memories for front seat position

I would have paid at least 5k more if it had these. As it is I’m 100% happy with it.
