Opening the trunk without using the remote control - 2006 buick lacrosse

How could I open the trunk from the inside the car?
I lost the remote control (which I used for this operation).

You pull the trunk release lever. That is located near the driver's left foot.

Thanks, but there's no release lever near the driver's left foot......

Driver's door or passenger door, press and hold the top of the door lock button, you should be able to hear the lock release. BL

I loved that feature when I had my '08 LaCrosse Super. Yes, both front door locks can open the trunk.

Really not a trick question. When I bought my '05 the repo- dealer said because the remote wasn't working he didn't know how we could open the trunk until we got the remote fixed, which he was going to pay for. He said the detailer had to get his wife to crawl through the back seat into the trunk to use the emergency release. Go figure!

That's funny. My salesperson didn't know all the trunk opening ways on my '17 either. She knew about the button on the drivers door and the remote but had no idea it could be opened from the outside by touching the bottom of the Buick emblem.

Part number gm 20815647 -Mechanic wanted 600 plus. Part is actuator/ trunk assembly/latch for trunk on a 2006 Buick LaCrosse 3.6.
I can get part for 198.00 out the door from dealer.
Wondering about labor? Anybody know a honest mechanic in Las Vegas to install?

Help me please, Buick brothers. I cant bang a nail without messing it up.

Mine has an inconspicuous button on lower driver side door (2016), didn’t know it was there until trunk unlatched when pressed. Topic is old💀

The rear view mirror seperarted from my Buick windshield. In previous cases with other cars, the steel mounting plate was reglued to the glass. On my '05 LaCross, there's a thin clear plastic tape adhered to the glass. Is the mirror mount glued directly to that clear pad or, do I temove it and glue directly to the glass?

That has nothing to do with a mirror separation from the windshield. Try starting a new thread for a better response on your mirror problem.
