Do I strictly have to lower the subframe and all that stuff? I don't think it would go well if I disconnected the rack and pinion too. Mine is '98 lesabre with 3800 series II engine and 4t65e trans..
Code is p0742 with CEL on. CEL has gone back off though. Shifts really aren't bad at all. Only concern is the grumbling, humming sound coming from trans. side case area where tcc solenoid is?
Has anyone ever been successful with a seafoam fix to clean out debris that may be causing "stuck on" problem with solenoid? Do I just pour the stuff right into to filler tube of trans.?
