My paired phone on my 2020 envision only shows every 4th contact that's on my phone. I don't want to transfer all my contacts to the car because of privacy issues and there are two sets of instructions for putting contacts in your car memory. I was told to make an appointment and have the tech transfer my numbers, but I can't do a total transfer and the car is deciding which contacts on my phone it will see. i deleted the phone from the car then reconnected it and it still skips numbers in the contact list. It's beyond irritating.

Where did you find instructions to only store selected numbers?

When you go to the phone icon and then click on contacts, if you click on link to the right you can use another contact list. It is at this point you can add individual contacts directly to the car.

Car system often filter synced contacts. Try using Bluetooth settings or contact groups.
