poor placement of block heater outlet.

I virtually hate the block heater placement.also the expensive unique cord that is expensive and not readily available to replace.I have to get on my hands and knees to attach the cord and if it's dark outside you need a flashlight to align the plug in. If there is bad weather , or deep snow you are going to get dirty.I think theft in parking lots will be a problem as the $100 cord is easy to pilfer.A back up location and an ordinary outlet that you could use an ordinary extension cord would be a big help. Can I have a back up installed?

I should add the make and model of my car, it's a 2024 Buick Enclave, the googling I have done says I cannot change the block heater cord. GRRRRR!!!!
