Hello all and I need some help. 1994 RML, driver's door. I replaced the motor due to very slow operation. Well, that was not the problem. The window is "tight" about 4-5 inches from the door sill, as it goes up. If I manually help it up, it goes up but doesn't align correctly. The window can be moved almost a half an inch to it's proper location. (Someone has been in there before) I can't align it correctly. I lubricated the weather stripping and channel (desert car).

I read the manual, but I am stumped. I'm suspicious it's a bad or warped regulator. Very open to ideas..

Have you checked the slides/guides in the regulator? If original, they are prone to failure once the lubricant dries out. I had to replace all of those original ones on front/rear several years ago with Dorman part #74444 & have never had a problem since. You will need two for each window regulator! All I can say is the front drivers side is a bitch to replace, so if you are not capable of doing it, find someone who can!

Yessir I replaced the football pieces with the Dorman parts. A "C" clamp worked well.

I did replace those parts with the Dorman wheel part#74444. Maybe I am not settling the regulator up properly when I mounted it in the door? Baffled..
