2011 Buick Lacrosse
Hello,

About 6 months ago my infotainment screen on my 2011 Lacrosse would go as far as the GM logo then turn off for about 20 seconds then try again. Everything else worked (heat, aux, radio, etc) although I couldn't see what anything was set at. Dealer finally figured out that the radio unit was the issue and was unable to reset the radio so they advised getting a used one. Did that, brought it in to be reprogrammed and they called technical assistance and they basically told them that they can't reprogram 2011 Buick Lacrosse radios for whatever reason.

Has anyone run into a similar situation and what was the work around? Or am I just completely screwed?

Thanks!

I think you are screwed. I have a 2017 lacrosse with at the time 62k miles in 2022. The infotainment system went black and had to be replaced at a cost of almost $1000. Now usb ports don’t work and neither does CarPlay. I’ve changed cables and iPhones with no luck. Made sure it’s not an Apple problem. It’s dead. I’m going to take it back to the dealership. We absolutely love the vehicle but this is getting crazy. Anyone have a solution?
