Rain sense wipers

My wipers work just fine, now that I have the revised driver's side wiper arm.

I hate all this technology too , I have to drive tractor trailers with this crap on it. The collision avoidance and the rain sensing wipers And adaptive cruise control... Sure it works ok but The Constant beeping is super annoying, I want my car to drive the speed I set it to. Not the speed of the jackass in front of me.. Fast wipers make me motion sick watching them Go back and forth And rarely ever put them above level 1 or 2, I prefer rainex tootoo.. The rain sensing wipers only are handy in very heavy rain.. They are headed to self driving cars, That's why they keep putting this stupid technology in them.. I've read about some of the Maintenance problems with the Collision avoidance radar systems And I say it's not worth The maintenance issues

I for one don't understand the the rain sensing wiper thing. If I ever see rain drops on my window and cant reach up and turn on my wipers, god help me (would that make me stupid or just lazy)......at what point is all this new technology just ridiculous?

It’s just a matter of what we become accustomed to from our previous vehicle. We fear change.

I enjoy the convenience of rain sensing wipers. What I don't like about them is that it turns on your lights by default. We have daytime running lights already. 😳
