Hey guys, long time lurker first time poster here. I've had many, many troubles with my power windows that you fine folks have helped remedy through past discussions, but I'm at a bit of a stand still here.

A while ago, my rear passenger power window stopped working completely, through multiple master window switch changes and a set of rear switches. It remained completely immovable until the other day, when it decided to kick back into gear just long enough to roll itself down.

I'e tried new switches and a new window motor/regulator assembly. Multiples of both, actually, but still I can only get the regulator to move down.

A side note, the other day, if i tried to use the rear passenger window switch to roll up the window on the original motor and regulator assembly, i could hear a faint, single click noise from the motor, but with any of the new assemblies i tried, there was no noise or movement unless rolling the window down.

Wiring? Fuses? Is my car a lemon, or perhaps haunted?

Seriously folks, anything counts here. I'm at my wits end with the electrical in this thing and winters coming fast.

thanks in advance,

I've had similar issues. Check the ground wires in the doors. There will be a wiring harness on the driver's door that gets broken from constantly opening and closing the door. This feeds power to the master window switch, door locks, and power window motors. You may have to take the door panel off to determine which wires are the grounds. You can use a voltage meter to check the wiring and switches also. I believe the windows use 12 volts.

Its possible it could be the rear window switch but I'd check the grounds and voltage first.
