Hello Again All,
It seems like I have just a ton of stuff going on with my car!
Well....today when the lawn was getting done a rock flew and shattered my rear passenger window which is tinted. The tint has seemed to keep everything in place other than the 1 million cracks and just barely fell apart. I did the not so smart quick fix as it was going to rain and just used duct tape on the inside and outside of it to hopefully prevent a leak and the glass going all over the place.
I see plenty of rear passenger windows on eBay and other places, but my problem is that my rear passenger door has no power to it for door locks, window controls, and even when I open it the lights don't come on nor does the alarm go off as it seems everything on it is disconnected or the whole door module is bad.
Can anyone give some input on how to replace the window with the power issues? Will the replacement one be able to slide in if I loosen the window motor grips without it going down any and then making them tight again? Etc. I know I will have to vacuum out all the shattered glass out of the doors interior for sure.
Thanks - Here is a link to it before the duct tape covering.
