i have a 1989 Buick Century and i want to turn it into a sleeper. Looking for any and all info about swapping in the 3.8 litre supercharged out of a 1999 regal GS. i already know i have to do a battery relocate but know nothing about what i need for wiring harness and other mounts, clearance, ecu etc. also curious about whether i can use the suspension and swap the hubs as the one i'm getting has upgraded brakes and suspension. any an all help is greatly appreciated

If you really want to undertake that task, you will need to redo all the engine mounts & wiring harness from the from the PCM and other components. I do not think the 1989 Century & 1999 Regal frame mounts & trans mounts would be compatible.

Since I have a 1990 Buick Century, I assume that an 1989 also has the early OBD-I system was had an ECM and separate ignition module under the coil pack. OBD-II came where they were combined and were named the PCM. You'd need the different PCM, wiring, dash readout, etc. which seems to be an impossible task. Plus if any extra body/chassis switches, etc that were added in years in between that are missing would be missing from PCM or other module inputs. Too many details!
