I am trying to replace an E-Brake cable that snapped on the front portion of the vehicle. I am having trouble removing the E-Brake pedal. I removed the front two nuts, but cannot find what else is holding it on? It feels like there is another one somewhere but u cannot find it. Can someone either point it out or find a picture of a pedal to locate this nut?

The vehicle is a buick lesabre 2004

There's a 3rd nut hidden behind the pedal assembly. You won't see it, so you'll have to use the eyeballs on your finger tips. In the drawing, it's by where #14 is. The drawing is looking at it from the back side. Can you see where the three brackets are? They are the ones bent at 90 degrees. I used a real long 1/4 drive extension combined with a deep socket and a universal joint to get to it. I was holding the ratchet all the way by the accelerator pedal; that's how long the extension was.

Thank you for that diagram. That is perfect.

I replaced the the front cable on the assembly from #11 to #8 on that diagram. My issue now is there is a good 4-5 inch gap between #8 and #6's end, not allowing me to connect them. The parking brake is disengaged giving more slack and its still that 4-5 inch gap. Is there an adjustment somewhere? I didnt see one on the assembly at all
