Well, the small issues just keep coming; I had to replace the outer case on my Driver 2 remote because the back developed a large crack and stopped working. Today I bought a new case with buttons and attempted to test the remote and nothing happened. I tried resynching both remotes through the DIC and while the Driver 1 remote doesn’t miss a beat (and found to my surprise that it’s tied into the memory system as my seat and mirrors started moving) and works 100% the Driver 2 remote is still dead. Doing some testing with my Autel TS501 TPMS tool (it does RKE testing as well) shows that the remote IS sending out a signal but the car doesn’t respond to the signal. Any help is appreciated.

On the rear shelf is the receiver #4 and in some cases unplugging it, wait a few minutes and plug it back in, it acts like a reset.

For my 2009, I bought 2 fobs and key blanks from Amazon for $16. Got blanks cut. Programmed everything up in 5 mins from instructions on the Buick driver's manual.

If your FOB 'developed' a crack, probably it was dropped? Or moisture got in it? Always a possibility the frequency shifted for whatever reason. Way too cheap to fool with. Just get a cheap replacement.

I purchase a FOB from Amazon, then after seeing the ease of programming, got the twins with key blanks from WM.
