Hello, I and a friend replaced the intake manifold gaskets and valve cover gaskets yesterday due to the gunk build up in the coolant system. When we got done and put everything back together, we started it up and it is idling rough. We figured maybe it was one of the sensors for the air intake so I sprayed cleaner in them and cleaned the hose that connects to the air box. It's still doing it. I'm curious if it's because we took off the wiring harness to get to the gaskets and the pcu is doing something weird? I really don't know it's never done it before and it's been running great except that gunk. Seems like we fixed one problem and some how started another. Any suggestions would help. Thanks

Are you sure all of the plug wires are back in their correct spot? If the engine wasn't running rough before the repair, just beginning to leak, I would think something isn't plugged in, a vacuum hose isn't hooked up, or plug wires crossed. Also, the push rods are different lengths and don't follow the same pattern, the intake and exhaust valves are not in the same location for each cylinder.
