Seat belt for 2016 Encore back ordered with no eta.

I hit a deer, or more accurately it hit me. All repairs have been completed with the exception of replacing the front passenger seat belt. The seat belt is not available from GM or anywhere else and the dealer has no idea when they will be available. I may not be able to drive my car for months and my insurance coverage for a rental vehicle is up because it’s already been in the shop for six weeks. I can’t believe you can’t get a $140 part for a car I purchased new only a year ago. I will never buy another GM product again. I may have to purchase another car so I can get to work and then sell this one to some unsuspecting sucker when and if I ever get it back.

That is almost it. Wrong color and that one has been replaced with a newer part so it is missing some bolts. I may get it anyway and just have a mismatched color so at least I will have a vehicle I can drive again. Maddening that GM doesn't do a better job stocking parts for cars they are currently selling.
