whats up fellas, i have a 92 PA ultra and my pulley broke off i have pics of it... now i went to the junkyard and found a SC off a riviera.... same model SC so i know it fits only problem is removing mine with out messing anything up, maybe some pointers will help. its too tight to keep the whole SC on and remove the nose part of it, would i really have to remove the whole SC? that means new gaskets and removing all these gas valves..... in need of ideas

thanks, Ralf

Welcome, and... holy cow! did it lock up solid? When breaking the fuel lines be sure to replace the O-ring fittings on the connectors. I think on the older ones you have some connectors that are prone to be brittle and break, but I'm sure the more experienced in the S/1's will chime in here. And definitely replace the LIM and UIM gaskets while you're in there! Also a good time to replace the O-rings on the injectors. Good, cheap insurance...

Why not just change the snout? All you have to do is move a few obstructions to remove it. If you do that, it would be a good time to replace the coupling and oil as well. You never know the condition of JY S/C's until you open them up.

here are some pictures... almost ready, getting the gasket from dealership tomorrow
