Having issues with the service vehicle soon message on the DIC of my 06 Lacrosse. I've checked every exterior light, I've checked every fuse, I have no other warnings, and I cannot figure out what is giving me this message.
I took it to a dealership to have the BCM read. I had recently fixed the secondary air pump. Dealership said oh it's from your fix, it'll go away after you drive it. I said the manual even tells me the service vehicle soon is not tied to emissions and I've put 100+ miles on it since I changed the pump.
The other things it does strange are, the lights and dash will dim while I'm driving, not a lot but just a little and then come back to original brightness, then dim again back and forth. Random interior lights are out, one on the rpm gauge, the front window controls, and the cruise and set lights are out. But strangely the rear window controls, mirror switch and adjuster. And the resume button for cruise are all on. I've replaced the high beam and low beam relays, the alternator, and it has a new battery.
I'm at a loss, hoping you all can help. The only other commonality I can think of is the BCM itself.
