Side Blind Zone Alert System?

Hey everybody, I work for a used car dealership and we just recently purchased a 2012 Buick Lacrosse Premium Group I to sell and it appears to have the optional driver confidence package with the HUD and the Xenon headlights. However, isn't it supposed to also have a blind zone alert system? I cannot see any indication of the icon in the mirrors. Should I be able to? I know the newer Escalades, Yukons, Tahoes you can see an icon in the mirror. And I drove it around the block and passed a few people, but nothing lit up. Am I missing some button? Thanks!

You might have to turn it on in the config menu. At start up both indicators will illuminate for a few seconds to show they are working.
