I have a 2011 Regal, 140K miles. just changes the catalytic converter, exhaust manifold ( cracked) and O2 sensor. The brake light comes on intermittently. When that happens the stability control tightens up and the brake pedal gets real hard. It feels like you are driving with the emergency brake on. Replaced the brake light switch. problem only returns after a hot day in the parking lot. Nobody around, brake light comes on ( by its self) and the brakes tighten up causing the car to move forward with great resistance. I can turn the stability control off ( on the dashboard) and pump the brakes a few times and it clears up enough to dive it home. IS there a logic circuit somewhere that is acting up? Only once in the past three moths did we get any dashboard lights. service stability control and service engine light.

You are on the wrong forum year, however, to me sounds like an ABS issue.
