Buick Ownership
2015 Buick Regal GS
Has anyone replaced the steering wheel button modules on 2011-2017 Regal? I'm trying to find out if the airbag has to come out, if the modules are screwed in, or if they're just clipped in. The left module buttons are really worn on my 2015 GS.

Here is a link to someone replacing buttons on a Chevy: Button Replacement
Here is someone replacing the buttons on: 2018 Buick Regal TourX

I'd be more inclined to think the 2011-2017 Buick Regal would be more like the Chevy Video.

Instead of replacing my Buttons, I'm going to replace the whole Steering Wheel.
I picked one up a few years back for around $45 (Brand New).
My Buttons are in good condition and don't need replaced on the Steering Wheel that's
on the car, but the leather has some marks on it (like someone dragged their Coat
Zipper across it every time they got in or out of the car).
I've just been using Liquid Brown Shoe Polish on it occasionally (usually cleans up those marks).

The Chevy steering wheel looks alot like the Regal's, I'll be giving it a go this weekend. My leather is in good condition, but this video demonstrates a good starting point if I ever do need to replace the entire wheel. Thanks for the help!

You are welcome, sorry so late responding.
My Leather isn't worn thru or anything really bad like that, just looks like
someone had dragged their Coat Zipper across it (my zippers are always zipped if I'm wearing a coat).
A little Brown Liquid Shoe Polish takes care of it for quite a while.
I just bought that Steering Wheel as a "just in case", just in case my leather does wear thin, etc...

Youtube is one of my favorite places, even for things I've done before.
Never hurts to take a Refresher.
