Throbbing/Pulsing Noise from 17 Regal Premium

Hi All, I just started having this weird noise coming from rear passenger side of my vehicle. It happens when I drive past 60mph and when I brake from that speed. I suspect that it could be a warped rotor and I am wondering if you could help me confirm this. I've provided a sound clip of the noise and also a picture of the rotor, which seems far more corroded than the rotor on the rear driver's side.

The odd thing is that I do not feel this pulsation in the break pedal, and breaking performance remains strong. It is also not transmitted through the steering wheel. It just a noticeable acoustic issue, but is still worrisome.

Have you carefully looked at the tire for any kind of bulge or belt movement?
Try moving the tire to another position on the car.

The photo appears it may be uneven pad wear, but can't see more than that and nothing of the back side. Doubtful rotors are warped unless a dial indicator was used to check runout. Check caliber slides, piston rust, pad wear is flush on both sides as a possible starting point.

For the record, it turned out to bad rotors in the rear, which ate away at the breaks. Same issue happened in the front 5 months ago. Bought the car with 7K miles. Car now has 22K. So, in that time, 4 rotors and 4 brake replacements. Rotors are covered under warranty, but obviously the brakes are not. Makes me worried for the future...

Yes this can absolutely be caused by brakes in my experience, just strange no issues during braking. Just don't buy cheap brakes. Would pass on any of the usual brands. EBC seems best, Hawk is decent.
