Tips and Tricks with TourX ?

Now for something completely different....as I was buckling up this morning to drive to a QT here in Atlanta, my passenger was buckling in his seatbelt, and noticed that the Latch Plate has a strip of duct tape on the side that faces the middle of the car. Sure enough, so did mine. Makes perfect sense so the latch plate wont scratch the plastic of the center consul. Anyone else have a strip of tape on the Latch Plate?
I have that on mine too.

If the instantaneous mileage bar is to be trusted, go ahead and switch to manual mode in town/under 45ish. My transmission likes to be in 7th/8th at around 1200 RPM under high load. Downshifting to 6th/1700 RPM shows about a 5 MPG improvement.
I expect that even considering throttling losses and frictional drag, that when the little 2.0 LGT is lugging, the Fuel air goes rather rich. At light throttle the F/A is more on the lean side at 1700-2000 rpm.

For those in States where youre not able have visible tint on front windows:

An option, if the concern is thermal related, for those wanting front windows tinted is to request Clear Ceramic Tint.
With every vehicle i always get my windshield tinted with clear ceramic tint, drastically reducing heat.
If its privacy, as stated prior, find a shop thatll do it. 👍

For what its worth - Maybe I'm behind on this but I just noticed that the rear mat (carpet) is reversable on my 2018. Both sides say Regal but the non-carpeted side is a slide proof rubber material. This is the mat that goes over the cover for the wheel thats not there. The carpet side was up when I bought it but I prefer the rubber skid proof side more.
