the only other size was 215/75/15 and the white walls are smaller, so I had to go with the big boys 😀

Hey Oz,

I have been researching and pricing the available white walls available out there. Pretty slim pickings.

Most tires in our size are now designed for SUV's. The few that are for passenger cars rarely have a white side wall. Black walls and white letters are the norm.

Hankook makes a WSW tire (4 for $380 out the door), Toyo ($280 out the door), Kelly Springfield $425 out the door(Navigator Gold- Sounds SUV to me), Republic, and an entry level Firestone 380. There is also The Vogue *no homo* (@ $175 per tire) by Goodyear.

I'm still looking and can share the results of my search if you'd like.

But do they have the 1.6 or "2inch" white wall like these?

No offence or any thing but I can get those penny walls all day for DIRT cheap and I actually have a used at work in the basement already mounted on steel rims from a caprice. The RMS just NEEDS the gangster whitewalls 😎

I just like tires. I stacked all of ours up a few days ago. There are 5 stacks, taller than I am. And we still have a few more floating around. 😀

Cool.

What I wouldn't give for a new set of Aquatreds with that serated white stripe.
Yea? funny thing is we got about 8 of those tires brand new but have been sitting in the warehouse for years 😀

I haven't got them yet but in 2-3 weeks here (he said 2) they will be on the car and Ill post some pics 🙂 the tires on there now are original I think:icon:

I like them they just look too damn tall, maybe they'd look better on the car tho...

my buddy has 235/75/15's but no white wall or anything and they look good on his RMS

Yea? Tell your boss you have a buyer. If they are the right size and serviceable I'll take all 8.

Selling new old stock ... you'll get employee of the month Oz!

Goodyear Ultra Grips, huh? They use those on some of the County PD squad cars. My dad has been less than impressed. That crown vic gets stuck in a few inches of snow. I wish I could compare them to some other snow tires.

I was asking about the F32's, because my Dad, and Grandpa(moms dad), were raving last night on how great the F32's were on their plow trucks. I was curious what the pattern looked like, since I have not found a pic of them. He mentioned the pattern looks alot like the Snow Trakkers I had on my Roadmaster last year(Now on my Cherokee). I think he needs to try the Snow Trakkers on the back of that Crown Vic, and see how they compare. The Bolt pattern is the same. I am tempted to compare them on the rear of the 95 Town Car, to the Glacier Grip II's he has on the Town Car Limo. And then, I could still compare them to my old Winter Masters, which are on 15" Crown Vic rims right now. 😀

I love snow tires. 😎
