Buick Ownership
Regal TourX
I am a new owner to a 2018 TourX. I had to give up my FJ cruiser due to a new baby in the family. So far this car is great I liked the move from one small community to another. I've been reading the pages here for a couple days and I can't find any examples of a chrome delete. I have the black (ebony metallic I believe) model. I have talked to a friend who does vinyl and they are able to black out all the chrome on the car but I would like to see an example.

Thank you for the reply. That really looks slick.

Put some black electrical tape on the trim. That will give you an idea of what it will look like then you can peel it off.
Lol that actually is a good idea idk why I didn't think of that

If you go that route wait for a cool day, sometimes electrical tape tends to get gooey when it gets warm.

Hmm, I see so many other vehicles blacked out, or around here they call it "murdered out". I have a 60 cadillac, chrome and stainless everywhere. And its black. So the black and chrome look good to me. I was initially drawn to the tourx because it looked like something modern that had black and chrome! Just my $.02

I don't mind the chrome but I think it will look better all black but to each is his own. I just see a lot of GM cars with that same chrome all the way down or around the windows. I also have a 75 Cadillac but it's on air bags but I kept the chrome on it lol.

To each their own, so if the OP wants to blackout the extra chrome it's their decision. There's been worse ideas lol

I've seen some black painter's tape. Best part, no glue residue.

Photoshop or similar paint program it, saves time and money if it doesn't look good delete it.

I used some electrical tape as suggested to get an idea. I think it looks good but would look better glossy black obviously

I have been really tempted to do it but I am torn...there is a part of me that likes the way it transitions into the light. But that does look good.
