Tourx compatible Thule racks

I wanted to move my Q7 Thule crossbars to my new Tourx. Thule NA has not yet come out with the compatible foot pack kit. I got the right one - #4012 - in England from LR Centre. Painless process and they fit great.

Question, I was surprise at how close the crossbars are if you locate them at the dimples in the rails. I have a 15 ft Kayak and was wondering if you can slide the rear rail back some with this setup.

You can adjust it to wherever you want as the feet can move side to side on the bars as you move them front to rear on the car.

The crossbars pictured measure 49”, which seems about right to me. They’re 10 years old, I’m not sure what’s available today

Anyone interested in a solid lower profile option, check out these Nordrive from Micks Garage out of Europe. They ship from Dublin, but $30 for shipping and I got them in 3 days here in Chicago. I think they look pretty decent.
