Anyone know how to remove the front turn signal bulb in a 2019 Encore? Was able to replace the headlight no problem by twisting off the cover, and twisting out the light. Able to remove the cover from the turn signal bulb, but thats as far as I can get, light doesnt seem to twist or pull out.

Thank you.

I wish I knew how, but it seems to be a big secret, for I can find little info on Encore front signal light replacement. It doesn't help that the owner's manual say to go to a dealer. Most other bulbs require twisting counterclockwise on the socket to remove, yet I wonder if something more or different is required for the turn signal bulb? Anyway, check out the below link and see if you have the turn signal assembly fastener on your vehicle, which maybe has something to do with removing the bulb. IDK, but maybe someone who does will chime in.

Thanks for your help. That turn signal assembly doesnt look familiar, so now I'm doubting myself even more. Seems odd that they would make the high and low beam bulbs so easy to replace, but make the turn signals a hassle. At least the rear and mirror turn signals are working, so I'm not concerned about safety for now, but I'd rather not pay the dealer to replace a bulb.

The headlamp assembly (you have to scroll down on the link) looks similar to what I have on my car; is the turn signal on your a single lamp or a LED array? If it's a LED, I'd hope for a bad electrical contact in a connector else the whole module would have to be replaced.

A 2019 should still be in warranty (burned-out bulbs don't count), but the LED's (headlamp module) should be covered.

I'm thinking LED now, so I'm thinking I'm out of luck. This all happened after a rock hit and broke the headlight lens while driving. The low beam headlight and the turn signal went out, so I don't think the warranty is going to help. A whole lot of rain water got in, which would explain the low zone halogen lamp bursting. Not sure why the LED would have also crapped out though. As mentioned, I changed the low zone lamp and it's working again, but I guess the dealership is going to profit from my bad luck...

Thanks for all of your input.

Odd that I have yet to find one diagram showing the location of the front turn signal bulbs or LED module on a 2019 Encore. Looking at my headlight assembly, I can see three-round(two large and one small) apparently removable access covers and I would like to think the turn signal bulb is inside the small access hole. There is also a hard to access(very near the fender) gray/silver box that might have something to do with the front lights, but IDK. I could not find on GM parts direct one image of where the front turn signal bulbs and/or sockets are located, so I'll have to see if the turn signal is LED array only.

Edit: Just saw your post above and would agree about being LED.

This is utterly ridiculous and I hate that I have to go to the dealership for something I could easily do myself. Stuff like this is why Buick has to discontinue the model.
