Updating GPS nav DVD

Has anyone updated the GM Nav DVD data in their Lacrosse? I just updated my system to a 2012 UYS radio with Nav. The Map data is from 2012. I looked and the upgrade dvd is $179 from GM. Ebay has "fakes" i believe, priced at $30.

Yes - I just updated my 2016 last month - the data my car came with originally was probably the same as what was provided in 2012 - they only update these every four or five years, apparently, I believe it was only $159 - not certain. You need to provide them with your VIN as part of the ordering process. You get a little USB stick which takes about 30 minutes to upload.

I have UHQ radio, and and the latest map is from 2013. There is no update map available for the UHQ last I checked few months ago...
