vote for pics that go into the calendar?

think i got it this time.......

these cars of course, since i don't own it any longer, (and few months later saw it on the news - someone ran it into the side of the house)
shouldnt be in the calandar.

Got a couple pics of the new (for me) roadie. Damn, the thing looks like crap with a broken taillight. I should really get that fixed - - Rag on all you like about my fake fender vents...I think they are gonna look sweet. Gotta get black "D" window Crager rims for these tires, and %20 tint yet and then gonna leave it. I broke the bank puttin a 2.5" cat-back w/ crossover on. And a pcm tune needs to come, hopefully before it starts gettin cold out...

Do yourself a favor, and get rid of that "Filter". I had one, and you can see right thru it. Dirt goes RIGHT past it, into the engine. 😉

ok, I'll take your word for it. What do ya suggest? Would a pre-screen work fine, or which filter do ya suggest? This was just a cheap $25 one from autozone...

I know I've been sayin I'll buy that tail light from ya, lol. Been a lil hairy lately with the finances and wife is starting to hate the car because of it lol. I cant let that happen! I apologize cory, hopefully in the next week or two if you would still happen to have it at that time...

I'm sure I will still have one. I have not gone all out with parting the cars out. Had other things to deal with, one of which caused me to take a break from the cars, and go fishing with a real good friend of mine to help keep his mind off some news that hit him hard.

Anyways. I too once had that $25 filter. Take it off, and look thru the bottom at a shop light. You can see clear as day, the light on the other side. I bet you will gasp with all the spaces in it. I took a K&N cone filter, & a K&N panel filter and did the same test. Not nearly as bad, but you could still see a little light poking thru here and there. Then I took 3 S&B filters I had around, and did the same test. They were by far better. I didn't see any spots of light shining thru them.

Really tho, at your power levels, the stock elbow, with a 3" diamter PVC pipe, to the stock filter box, with the side/front cutout, will do a pretty good job sucking up the cold air, filtering it, and having enough flow. Or you can get an S&B cone filter, and stick it where you have it. I forget what filter is on the New RMS. I think Matt said it's a dry, no oil filter. Amsoil EAA filter? After learning more about them, they seam like a great idea.

I hear ya also, about takin a break. I NEED to go fishing myself. With a wife and two kids at home, and tryin to get my car where I want it before winter, I've only been out fishing once this year. I gotta fix the motor on my boat, been a long ride with that thing and it still don't run right. Don't want to get into it now, but I could spend 2-3pages talkin about that damn boat. Need rims, and tint, and I think I'll be done with the car (for now lol) Oh yea, and a tail light 🙂
wow did that cat-back give me some noticeable power increase! I can't wait to get the cats cut out now.

I might have to take you up on that offer Goldy. Want to get mine washed, and take it to a decent spot, but maybe you could color in the rust that'll be evident on the rear quarters lol. I just bought a tail light off of cory, so hopefully that'll be here soon. Rims gotta wait till at least the middle of next month.
