Hi, I know this is a long shot but it can't hurt to ask. I hoped it would pop up on Ebay but nothing yet.
I have a 91 Park Avenue, the parking brake pedal has trouble catching on as well as releasing, mechanic checked it out and the mechanism is badly rusted. I'm from Europe and the car won't pass inspection if I don't fix it. So I need to get a working used one. These are not common cars here so I can't source one locally.
So, does anybody here have any advice on where to get a working parking brake assembly? Perhaps someone here has the part? I assume this is a common enough part to find in junkyards in the US? Do you know someone parting out a car like this? Or at least a website where you guys look for used parts? Is this part maybe shared with a LeSabre or Bonneville?
Any help or direction is very appreciated.
