Water PUDDLE on passenger side after it rains...

Hello. My 2000 Regal is making a water puddle on the front passenger side after it rains. There is no odor. Nothing else is wet, not the door panel, not the seat, not the drivers side. I dont have a cracked windshield. My heater is working and I am not overheating either.
The floor is so saturated that i lay cardboard down and have had to put my passenger into the backseat. Help me please to diagnose and repair this problem. I have owned my Buick for almost three years now and this is the first time i am encountering this problem.

have you tried using a water hose and spraying only single section of the car at a time, the windshield, the lower part of the door, upper part of the door, etc.

No... i think when i'm staring at the puddle while sitting at a redlight, my mindset has been to not add water... But please elaborate. I'm not laughing at your suggestion. I am curious about it. Sounds easy too, so please elaborate. I am thankful for your reply.

re: reply from MelsRegal ... am still interested in more details about how to isolate where all the water is entering from. when i said "puddle" i meant it. the puddle itself is about 1 inch deep at the deepest point and 4 inches wide. the entire passenger floor surrounding the puddle is saturated . . . it squishes with any touch.

Help Please...Anybody?

I have the same problem with my 93 Regal and have read other comments about it. There is a formed metal panel that the wiper blades rest on when they are turned off. Under this panel is a gap between other metal parts over which the caulking has deteriorated, or so they say. That, apparently, is where the leak is. I've never been able to address that problem as the car has kept me busy working on other issues it continually has. In the mean time a good shop vac works for leaked water abatement, and I issue galoshes to my wife for the ride in. So far she's been a fairly good sport about it.

Has the Cabin Air Filter been replace recently? If not installed properly, or damaged when installed, it can let water in and drain out through the floor vent, or through the blower motor itself.

Thank you for replying. My boyfriend says your suggestion makes sense and he went outside to do some inspecting. Says he knows what you meant and thinks he knows where to check now for the leak.
Dark now and not raining, so we are going to follow up on this in the morning. We appreciate your help. I will update after he checks the car in the morning. RE: galoshes... LOL your so nice. (me too tho ---->) i opted to sit in the backseat and let him drive bcuz he is 6'2" and neither one of us has galoshes. We're in drought stricken California. !!!

I asked about the air filter and it has not been changed recently. However, it is on the list for inspection once we resume figuring this out tomorrow morning. I will update with any info we figure out- good or bad.

Its fixed! I AM SO SORRY for taking so long to reply and update. (truth is: i was looking for my post on the wrong Buick website...sigh) With my daughters help i made it back to here.

UPDATE: no more water on the floor / replaced Cabin Air Filter like suggested. (See pics--Ewww!)
