Well lit trunk

I decided Endora needed a little more light in her trunk. When I replaced all the interior lights with LEDs, I bought a ten-pack of the bulbs for the vanity lights. I only used four for the vanity lights. I used the wire from an old desktop microphone. I soldered the wire directly to the ends of the LEDs. I covered the metal parts with liquid electrical tape. I spliced into the wires to the stock trunk light and hot glued the LEDs out near the shock towers. Now I can see exactly what I'm doing when I load and unload.

Hey DS, when you did your interior LED's, what/where did you buy them? I have tried several kits from Amazon/Ebay and have been very disappointed in the results. They are very dim in the interior when I open the door and half the time they don't even turn on. I have a set that I got for my Suburban on Amazon that was a kit for all 18 bulbs and those suckers are bright as hell but unfortunately that vehicle doesn't have the same lights as the Regal.

I prefer CREE LEDs from Amazon.com, since they're the brightest Puddle Lights, Glove Box, Reading Lights, Center Trunk light, License Plate, Backup Lights, Kick Panels, Front Turn Signals, Tail/Rear Turn Signals, I had to buy 2 more of the Puddle Lights to add to the trunk. You'll need these to tap into the Turn Signal to fix Hyper Flash
