What are the things you like or love about your Buick LaCrosse?

2014 Buick Lacrosse Leather v6
68,000 miles

There is plenty to love about this car. The top of the dash doesnt rattle or split like earlier GM models.
Accent lighting sets a calm tone for night-time drives.
Elegant curves instead of the 80s boxy look.
(most) materials touched feel premium.
Smooth and unapologetically quiet ride.
Nice and roomy for all passengers and the headrest tvs the dealer installed make for kids to be mildly entertained.
The trunk has a lot of space compared to other sedans, but even if that isnt enough, the flip down seats are like an added bonus "have some more".
Relatively problem-free short of a tiny coolant leak i cant find (i suspect the heater core). I ended up throwing a stop-leak in the reservoir and havent had an issue since.

I like the body style.

The leather interior, although my impala has better seats for my back.

The stereo system is clear and loud. With nice bass

The rims are nice

The ride is quiet and drives like a large Lincoln except with a wider feel to it.

The heated/cooled seats are a nice touch. Not sure if the base model has this or not.

My 2010 cxl is a great car, has a few hiccups with age.

I have a 2017 LaCrosse and LOVE it! Leather seats, smooth quiet ride, great handling, cavernous trunk space, plenty of room in the back seat for long-legged people.
I was looking for a used car in 2019 and had just finished test driving a Toyota. (Don't shoot me, but I had always bought foreign cars.) I didn't like any of the three makes that I tested out that afternoon, but as the salesman and I were walking off of the lot, I saw a sporty, elegant car. When I peeked in its window and saw a luxury interior, I jokingly said, "Ohhh! I want to test drive THIS one!" It was out of my self-imposed $15,000 budget, but what the h*ll. Off we went and oh boy, it was love at first drive!!! Holy crap. It handled WAY better than my previous cars. So smooth! I went home, read up on it, researched the VIN, etc. Three days later, I bought that LaCrosse for myself! We love taking it on trips because it is so comfy. I say hello to my LaCrosse every time I get in it to drive. It's my baby! (Yes, I'm weird like that!)
I was so sad to find out Buick quit making the LaCrosse. Those last few years were good looking cars!

I sold our 2005 Cadillac STS with 105,000 miles on it & got a 2019 Lacrosse. It had 19,000 miles on it when we bought it a year ago. We love the car and after reading this thread agree with all the positive remarks.

We have a "biggest complaint" thread; seems to me we should have its counterpart. What are the little things, or even the big, that you like about your LaCrosse?

Mine is a '16 Premium I with the V6. Of course I love the smooth ride, the quietness, and the power it gives you with only a few inches of pedal movement. (In contrast, my '11 Regal, much as I liked it, had only 180 HP. Going up a steep bridge in fast traffic, I would have to downshift to get more oomph if I backed off on the revs to let someone in ahead of me. No worries on that for the LaCrosse.)

I like that its gas gauge, while inaccurate, is pessimistic: It makes me think I have less gas in the tank than I really do.

Love its color, a deep garnet red, over a cream leather interior; and the blue-and-white gauges and lighting. Why BMW thinks orange instrument lighting is attractive is beyond me. (Yeah, I know, it helps with your night vision. But it still feels hot.) (See next item.)

The A/C is excellent . . . and I need it; I live in one of the hottest, foulest climates in America. Summer lasts 10 months.

The stereo is better than that in my late '15 base model BMW 3 Series. Sure, Premium I compared to base model -- but the BMW cost $6-8000 more when new. You'd think the speaker system would be a *little* better.

Visibility is generally better than in the Regal, which to be fair was a smaller car.

You?

I believe its a good car and it has saved my life a couple of times in horrible skids in rain. After 300,000 miles my electrical system is breaking down and causing me nightmares but over all cost has been low. Three sets of tyres. AC rebuilt twice. Fuel pump changed. Rear shocks changed. Alternator changed 280K miles. Been through 4 batteries.

I moved my post to a new thread: Dead Buick
