What did you do to your Regal today?

Yes, I like being able to put a Plate up there that I want!
I'm I Chicago Bears fan and have been for almost 50 years (I know, I've heard all the Jokes).
I found a Bears Plate on Ebay that I really liked, it's the Chicago C with the Bear on top of the C.
The Background is a Night Shot of Chicago.
The Plate is basically a couple different colors of Blue with works well with the Dark Sapphire Blue of my Regal.

I wrote the seller about a week after my purchase to tell them how happy I was with the plate.
I told the seller how in a weeks time I'd had over 12 Positive comments on the plate from Bears Fans.
The Seller misunderstood what I was saying and sent me a Photo of what they thought I wanted.
In my post I told them I had put the plate on a 2015 Buick Regal.
Below is a Photo of Both Plates, they'll make you almost anything you want!
BTW, I bought my Wife a Michigan M for her SUV, she's supporting her Sister In Detroit and Nephew In Ann Arbor (right now he's in Detroit too, until schools back in session).

We had that Nice Weather too, for a couple days, upper 60's and lower 70's.
Boy that really stinks, Snow.
But if we had 6 inches of snow, I'd have something to do
other than sitting in this house!
I did put my Shovels away a couple days ago, but the Snow Blower is still Gassed Up and Ready to Blow.
Any chance I could get a Trifecta Tune on the Snow Blower? 🙂
I don't really like driving my car in the snow, this city uses so much
salt on the roads and I'd like to keep my car for a little while!

My wife and I are both bored stiff, we've already cleaned everything.
She's laid off from work right now and no telling how much longer
that's going to last?
Told her the other day when I went and bought Groceries that Gas
was $1.249 at the station we use.
She says: Now that we can afford Gas, were not supposed to go anywhere!

I can only wash my car so many times in a week!
Have fun cleaning the snow off you car, sidewalks and driveway.

Typical of April snows in MN, it was wet, the ground is warm, so while we got 6" on the lawns, everything on the streets and sidewalks melted on contact. I did some much needed repairs on my snow blower mid February, and I haven't touched it since. If I knew fixing the snow blower would prevent snow, I would have repaired it in November!

Installed my “High Performance” recirculating valve from BNR today, Supposed to have a little more noise from the turbo but haven’t driven yet to confirm. About to go do some datalogging and email my tuner. And thought about giving her a bath but temps are supposed to drop below freezing tonight and don’t want to risk my pipes busting on the house. Sure wish it would decide to stay warm instead of this back and forth crap.

Gave her a quick wash yesterday, nothing special. I've been driving her around the state routes nearby to keep myself sane and get some fresh air. Couldn't ask for a better car to own right now.

Not me, I stuck with the Bears, all these years!
On Ebay they have some really awesome looking Embossed License Plates, I did see on for the Raiders.
They are a little pricy though, I've seen used ones going for $70+.
In the photo below the Raiders is Used $50 + Shipping, the Bears is New $70 including Shipping.
These sure would look nice on those Buick Regals.

Think they have in their description that these plates weigh around 2.5 pound each.
Wonder if the Plate Holder in the front could handle that much weight?
These aren't a Cheap Acrylic and Aluminum Plates that the Holders
were made for.
If I didn't like the looks of the plate I have already I would Definitely consider
buying one of those.

I think it would look great, but I probably have to make some kind of Lock
for it so someone doesn't steal it!
Right now, with over 17 Million People filing for Unemployment, around here they are
breaking into cars and taking anything left in the cars of value.
They can't really do too much with the Stock Stereos like what's in our Regals,
those have to be Programmed for your car!

Started changing my own oil--again--this weekend. I'm tired of paying $110 for a change at JLube, plus, I'm not a big fan of their o-filter. Advanced Auto is running a special on 5 qts of Mobil1 full synthetic oil and a carquest premium filter (I understand it's made by WIX) for $33 plus $8 for a 6th quart of oil...$41 out of pocket. No downside to this because I enjoyed getting under the Regal, after all these years. And that's what I did for my BR.

That's definitely a good price, especially when the dealer coupons arrive in the mail and you TRUST your mechanic. I continue to hear horror stories of conventional oil being use in lieu of syn and filters not being changed but customers being charged for them, anyway. I've had my own issues in the past, as well (and I'm not saying this happens everywhere, of course). I'll still continue to change my own oil, though, until my body says, "No more!". I trust them for one reason, my warranty stands with them. So if they don’t use the correct oil and something happens, it’s on them regardless. All my service records are through them, so it’s their ass. 😁

I prefer changing my own oil, however my apartment complex gets grouchy if you work on your car in the parking lot and most of my friends also live in apartments or condos. It’s more convenient to take it to the dealer.

I never really minded changing my Oil & Filter, but having 4 back surgeries
has made that difficult for me to crawl around on the ground.
Since my Son is a Service Advisor at the Buick/GMC Dealership I'm pretty
sure I can trust them to do it right, he'll make sure of it!
Like someone stated above, they use Mobil 1 DEXOS at the dealership.

I Had to buy some Oil today.
Wife's GMC Terrain is most likely Burning Oil and she's low again and it's not leaking anywhere that we can see.
She had an oil change almost 3,000 miles ago and she was supposed to take it in after 1,000 miles for the Testing they're doing, but she forgot.
So we are going to have to do it all over again, he wants her to bring it in, in about another 350 miles.
She'll have an even 90,000 miles on it then.

I may end up having to let her drive my Regal for a while so we can get this done.
I don't work, so I can take it in any time needed!
Not sure I want to give up my Regal, not even for a short time?

I agree on not wanting to give up your Regal to your wife...I love mine to the point of being overly possessive! Must be nice to have a family member as a service advisor; you don't have too much to worry about. Hope he takes good care of your Terrain and Regal! Too bad about that oil leak. Is that terrain engine the same 2.0 four cylinder that powers the Regal? Good luck w the Terrain!
