What gas mileage do you get on freeway?

IMHO the best most accurate way to check mpg is with a calculator or pen & paper. Be sure to stop filling on first auto click off and best with 300 plus miles on the tank. After a few fills you’ll have a good idea of actual mpg for that route and your driving style.

With my tires Inflated to 32psi and cruise control set to 72mph on flat highway I get 32mph

Excellent, is that the reading from the onboard computer or hand calculated as mentioned above?
It's from the information center

I know it makes us feel good to tell friends how great our car does, but I've always found the info center mpg numbers to be optimistic, in all our vehicles. Not saying some aren't accurate it's just I've never had one that was.

Yeah it doesn't matter to me to be quite honest. If it only got 18mpg i'd still drive it . I can't be bothered doing math to figure it out. I only put gas in my car once per month .

My info center claimed 30.3 avg mpg on the most recent fill. Manual calculation showed it to be 27.8 mpg, 2½ mpg or 8% less! That's a bit more optimistic than I'd like, but at least it's consistent. I always know it's gilding the lily, so at least I'm prepared for the "less-good" news.

My 2011 V6 VVT has never been able to give that kind of mileage in the same conditions, and I did everything I could to get the best mileage. Mind you, it wasn't a slouch, but it just wasn't this good.
