What is the Avenir? Is this simply a trim package of the LaCrosse?

Just chatted with a Buick rep....a bit surprised that he said I'm the "first person to mention that LaCrosse might be discontinued"..and that he's not heard of this before. Seriously???? Pretty much lost confidence in the guy right away. But, when I asked him what the top-of-the-line Buick is at the moment, he mentioned the "Avenir line". Never heard of it....If I replace my 95 Riviera, I want to stay with a top-level car, which of course the Riv was at the time.

Avenir is the current top of line trim for Buick. The Avenir trim is currently offered on the Regal Sportback, Enclave and LaCrosse. 2019 is the last model year for the LaCrosse in the United States. Production actually ended in February. I bought a 2019 LaCrosse Avenir AWD back in April. It is a really nice car. Glad I picked one up on it's last model year.

Hello. I have some questions re: the front grills. By chance is the lower left and right grills mounted in a bracket or is it open behind the grills?

The grilles and fog light bezels are all attached to the front bumper cover. The fog light housings are attached to their bezels via brackets but not attached to the bumper or front header. The area behind the pass side fog light is in close proximity to the windshield washer tank but the driver said has some open space.
The grilles have a few screws but mostly are clipped into the bumper cover. Same with fog light bezels. lower grill section is strictly clipped in.
