Hi there !
So I bought brand new Wheels and Tires Setup for my 2018 TourX.
Tires are 235/50/18 Pirelli P Zero and Touren TR60 Wheels 18x8, 5x115 , 40 mm. I guess wheels are exactly the same dimensions as the OEM.
For those who knows more about the topic than I do, I have 3 questions...
Q1. I know that for aftermarket wheels I need some special lug nuts, but every website matches the car with two sizes of lugs and I don't know which one I should get?
- 12x1.5 or 14x1.5 ( Spline, Coanical Seat 60 degree) ??
Q2. I have also read that I will need the hubcentric rings to avoid issues with balance and possible steering wheel vibrations after all. From what I understand, TourX has a center bore of 70.2 mm and Touren wheels have hub bore of 72.62 mm. So the rings that I will get should be adjusting from 72.62 to vehicle hub of 70.2 mm right?? If I'm wrong, please correct me, I am completely green and just started to learn these things...
Q3. What else do I need (except those listed above) to install the wheels?? The guy at STS Tire told me, I will need to find some custom wheel shop with "No Touch" machine to change it, so if anybody from NJ area knows good shop to install aftermarket wheels, I will really appreciate all inputs.
Thanks a lot!!
