Hey guy's, just wondering which is the best p.s. fluid to use in a 03 lesabre? Synthetic, high mileage, atf?? Thanks!

I prefer valvoline. It’s cheap and readily available. It’s what I use in my truck and it holds up pretty well.
I normally suck out the old with a turkey blaster yearly and put in fresh fluid.
Synthetic doesn’t really last much longer than conventional ps fluid.

Lots of good info on vehicle fluids.

Thanks, I'll do that.

I use the Valvoline Synpower power steering fluid.
I also bought a bottle of lubegard ps flush additive. Everything from lubegard you just cant go wrong with. Ever try anything from them?

Yup. I was having a bit of hard shiting inmy lesabre, added 10 oz bottle of lubegard red synthetic trans additive, no more hard shift. That was 700 miles ago. Lubegard is awesome.
Never read anything negative about any lubegard products.

How did we get from the original post of PS fluid additives, to trans additives? Lucas & Lubegard are about equal in my opinion.

Whats the difference? Just conversing.

Lucas & Lubegard both make PS additives which if a PS flush and fill is being done it may be the time to consider adding, Lucas & Lubegard also make PS fluid. Both make other items and if it happens to get mentioned that it works or doesn't, oh well it's a forum.
