Why do you think Buick LaCrosse is not on any best buy lists for used cars?

I just bought a 2011 for $13,700 and it is just like new in nearly every respect, from tires to interior being perfect and even smelling like new. Its my 3rd Buick, and must say feel its the most luxurious car I have ever been in. The stitched leather is so beautiful, and everything seems so thought out to me, especially the center arm rest which is actually usable and comfortable. And who ever thought of a rear window sun screen in a $30-40,000 car. I have never seen so many gadgets on a car, I counted over 40 buttons on the center dash pods, that is not counting the steering wheel button choices. The only odd thing about the car is the choice of naming the exterior colors. I just can't get my head around Mocha Steel Metallic. The word "Steel" just doesn't seem to apply or sound as beautiful as it is. Mocha Mist Metallic would have been a better name.

My original question still stands, do car mags/articles just overlook this car for some reason?

The magazines, I think, have a strong bias for foreign makes, esp. BMW and Japanese cars, and a strong bias against anything American. Even when, as in the case of Buick, the American car is less expensive to buy and maintain, and practically as pleasant (sometimes more) to drive. On top of that, I'd guess, the editors have not yet shed the mindset that Buick Is An Old People's Car. They want a younger demographic reading their magazines and buying their advertisers' products. (Despite the fact that many of that demographic either can't afford the more powerful/luxurious cars or the advertised products, or have little interest in buying a car at all.)

Translation: Buick is the current unsung bargain among automobiles. Smart people appreciate a good bargain. Enjoy the LaCrosse!

because they only put Japanese cars on those lists - my 2010 CXS almost looks new after six years (the interior does fully) and runs like a charm, still can't tell the engine is on at idling:thumpsup:
