Wipers turn on by themselfs?

I started the car and they've turned themselves on. Or it randomly happens when you're driving. Today it sounded like the water jets from the wiper blades wanted to work, but the hoses aren't connected anyways. So it wouldn't have worked anyways, but you can see it's acting up. annoying too! I don't want to drive longer distances with the blades on it's messing up the windshield.

additionally I will note that my "Multi-Function Switch" doesn't function properly since I got this car. If I turn it all the way the wipers will turn on, so it can turn on and off but no other speeds. Perhaps this is the issue with the randomness happening? Does anyone have some insight here?

Does both the low and high speed on the stalk work? They are the last two detents

If yes, do you have rainsense? If you do you have a square thing glued to the windshield by the rear view mirror. If you do, , unhook that electrically, and report what your wipers do.

Here’s where the trucks antenna connection is. Does your antenna go down rhe center?
