XM Radio Problem

I own a 2013 Lacrosse Touring Edition purchased May 2013. Several times the XM Radio has dropped my station and reverted to the preview channel. Any station I try to activate results in message "Channel Not Auhorized". I tried turning the radio off and on, and going to FM (or AM) and then going back to XM. Nothing works. The only way to correct is to turn ignition off and restart the car. Before I take it to the dealer, I would like some backgroud info to see if anyone else has had this problem and how it was resolved. Other than this, love the car.

Having driven a lot of cars and been a subscriber to XM for 10 years, that is very very unusual. Maybe have the XM module replaced..
 
If you go to XM site you can deactivate your account online which helps sometimes. I've had XM for many years and maybe once or twice a year it does what yours does. My Volt has done it but each time because it was in the garage turned off and when started I don't think t found a signal which I believe screws the memory and it reverts to the preview channel. Push the button for 60's and it goes there.

It seems to be a common problem with LaCrosse, Regal, and Verano owners. I posted about this happening with my Verano on that forum and I have read similar reports from Regal owners as well.
