Not what I want to be doing. But I have to be.

Ill give you a hint

I have 0 compression in cylinder 4.

This is the second time the vacuum pump seized in a little over a year. Not sure if it was the cause of this or just a side effect 1000056300.webp1000056323.webp

Harbour Freight is having a sale on jack stands this weekend!

I bought a couple sets! Ill replace the cribbing with them at a later point

What is your engine plan?

In the first post, I assumed you would be driving that neon pink pickup truck whilst the Regal was down. With the new photos, I don't think that will be possible.

I have a dead cylinder 4 and a trashed turbo. I unfortunately will be replacing the engine. It would definitely be a sight to see me driving down the road in the pink truck.

Did you use the Fishing Rod/Reel to pull the engine, or were you driving the Pink Truck
to your favorite fishing hole? LOL
Where do you live that it's warm enough (no snow) to pull the engine?

Took me 3-4 days to change my High Pressure Fuel Pump, had to dodge the rain drops
(heavy rain), deal with the wind and also snow.
I too have to work on my cars outside in the elements. Not much fun this time of year in the Mid-West.
Some days it's 60°, then 4 hours later its 30° with 40mph winds.
This was the case the other day, but we hit 60° at 2:00am, by 6:00am it was 30°.
Our current temp is 16° with light winds, won't see me out there working on my car in this weather.
We've got some single digit temps in the forecast later this week.

I wish you luck with the swap.
Are you going with a Used, Rebuilt or New Engine?
