Retrofitting 2013 Nav + Intellilink

I'll sell you an 11/12 Nav Silverbox super cheap VIN unlocked and all function all unlocked if you want 🙂

GTPprix, I might be interested. Actually, I'm more interested in if you can unlock 2012 UYS unit. How much would it cost? Let me know.

can you reprogram my BCS to allow full LED DRL's at any time? ie when the light sensor dims the lights leave the LEDS full bright as parking and while the full lights are on? I work as a manager at a Full line GM dealer and would be willing to help you out anyway i could in exchange even if you could email and explain how i could do it

Jessica -

Would you be able to lay out the RPO codes for the different radio options on Regals? It would be very helpful to me to know these RPOs because all the GM schematics are labeled only with the RPOs.

Here's what I really need:

- 2011 Regal standard radio RPO
- 2011 Regal navigation radio RPO
- 2011 Regal "uplevel amplifier" (like the Harman Kardon on my Lacrosse) RPO
- 2013 Regal Standard radio RPO
- 2013 Regal Intellilink radio RPO
- 2013 Regal Navigation radio RPO (if different from the intellilink option)

Thanks.

According to AllData, which does not current list RPO's for the 2013.

Gah, I just got a '12 yesterday and was disappointed the bluetooth streaming was omitted from the car. Wish I had perused the forums before I bought but I assumed '12 was new enough to offer music streaming!!

Now I have to figure out how to address this problem and it doesnt look cheap or easy.

I called the company on this thread about $1300 in total for parts and then what ever installation is.

Who did you call exactly? I called the infotainment number and they were completely useless with any information related to this topic.

Having a little problem. I have a 2012 GS with nav but no intellilink. I bought a radio # 22992934 which my dealer said is the new number for the 22989452 radio with Intellilink. I have both a tech2 and a J2534 EASE tool at my shop and have re-programed many GM vehicles. Problem I am having is that when I run my VIN in SPS it does not give me the optional UQH radio software, it only gives me the UFQ software. I got a VIN from a 2013 GS and found the UQH software but I am afraid to download that because I am not sure if it will put that VIN in the radio module. The only other way is to get a VCI from GM but when I called the TCSC they will not give me one because I am not a dealer. Other than that my GM parts guy said the shop has converted several. The shop wants $2800 to do it. I found the radio for $540.

Not sure if anyone is following this thread anymore or not but am going to post my experiance. I baught a radio with a part number of 22992934 off of e-bay out of a Chevy Cruze. I installed it and fired it up and as expected I got the Chevy Cruze emblem on the screen and then went to lock. Not unexpected. So as I posted my VIN did not offer the software for this radio so what I did was Google a 2013 Regal GS for sale and found a VIN. I then used that VIN to download the software for UQH radio into the Cruze radio I installed in my 2012 GS. I was not sure if using a different VIN would cause a problem and as I posted above GM would not give me a new VCI. Much to my surprise it worked. The Buick emblem comes up and everything is working including Pandora.

Nice job , have to to try and find a radio and give it a try myself.

Which tool did you need to use to reprogram the radio (tech2 or EASE?). A friend of mine has a Tech2, but I don't have access to an EASE tool. I might have to start searching local boneyards for a Cruise. Do let us know if any issues start to crop up over time. I assume all features are still working (such as Navigation), plus all the Intelilink stuff.

I used EASE. So far it works ok. It has all the problems that I have read about. Biggest problem is it wont recognize my Ipad nano unless I let it completely go through the sync process, about 10 min, and not touch anything on the entertainment system. If I do anything else during that process it will not recognize it. Also I have to unplug and plug it back in after each start of the car.

Do you know if the backup camera would work on the Cruze nav?

When I programed it, there was a back up camera sub-category that programed into the radio. That being said my 2012 GS is not wired for a back up camera.

Sure, just need a 13 Intellilink with Nav Radio silverbox and programming.

I would like to do this as well (even willing to lose Navigation if needed).

Can you contact me on this? Tried to send you a PM but wouldn't let me.
