Should I buy?

Thanks everybody! So far I'm loving it. I have one thing that's confusing to me, though:

I get out of the car, close the doors, and then press the button on the door handle to lock the car. Occasionally, when I return a few hours later, the car is unlocked. What can I do to prevent he car from unlocking itself?

I doubt it is unlocking on its own. But the key fob is pretty flat and doesn't take much to 'pocket push' the wrong or any button.

When you press the button on the door handle, do you wait a second to ensure it actually locks? If you press it real fast and walk away it may not have ever locked, just wait a second for the delay to make sure it does.

No idea about the Verano, but the Regal allows you to set the "reaction" of the car to locking and unlocking -- a flash of the lights, or beep of the horn, or nothing at all. I chose the lights so I'd always know when I've locked the car. The Verano ought to allow you to customize your settings too.

you shouldn't have to press the button to lock the car..... we just get out, close the doors and walk away.... we get a few steps away from the car and it beeps the horn to let us know it just locked.... we never, ever push the button on the handle to lock the car!
