Locks have stopped working

All door locks have stopped working.
Car must be unlocked with the key and depressed manually while inside of the car.

Anyone else experience this ??

As this was posted in 2018+ Buick Regal Sportback and TourX Forum it should be covered under warranty and as a new vehicle the issue shouldn't have happened. I'll assume that you will be taking it to the dealer for dianogist and repair as it's may be considered a safety hazard also.

Did you ever find out the cause of this and was there an easy fix.

We just had this happen to our TourX while on a long trip. We lost the ability to lock or unlock the doors with both the key fobs and the power door lock buttons inside the car. We were also unable to unlock the gas door. Fortunately we had enough gas to make it to our destination.

One of the connectors that leads to the BCM was bad.
Dealer has fixed it.
What makes it worse is that there is no emergency fuel release.

Glad it's fixed for you.

Bummer about the fuel door.

Thanks for sharing.

I had to Google what a BCM is. For those who don't know:

Body Control Module
In automotive electronics, body control module or 'body computer' is a generic term for an electronic control unit responsible for monitoring and controlling various electronic accessories in a vehicle's body. (Wikipedia)

Did you have any symptoms before it failed?

The short time a researched BCM showed there may be warning signs before one fails. Could be odd behavior flashing dash lights, a stereo system switching from AM to CD in the middle of a broadcast, the horn honking when you put down a specific window or hazard lights activating themselves in the middle of a drive.

Just curious if you recall having anything weird happen before it went? Would be good to share so we know what to possibly look out for.

Sorry on the problem but it shouldn't have happened on a new vehicle. Did Buick or the dealer confirm about the fuel door having no emergency releases? There's been others who have raised the same concern but as of now no one has confirmed it.

Hey what was the fix for this? My TourX is doing this exact same thing right now...thanks! Also - was there an error message before it happened to you? I got in my car last week and it told me to put my key fob in the console, which I did. But the locks were working then, and now they're not working at all. Also, the car alarm goes off when I open the driver door. Lots of fun!

OK so now it is making phone calls from my phone ( showed a call - to myself -in progress on the 8 inch screen but that call did not show up in my phone's call log), also the radio was inoperable for a few minutes including the steering wheel buttons... I'm guessing because of the phantom phone call.

Red or white needles?

White

EDIT: Should also mention that neither key fob unlocks doors. Press unlock on either one and the parking lights blink, but nothing else happens. And interior lock buttons remain unresponsive with either fob.

No way to open the fuel door.

Dumb dumb DUMB.

Does the unlock from the phone app work?

I don't have the phone app, so can't answer that question.
And yes, I've been unlocking it with the key that slides out of the fob. But that doesn't get me into the gas tank, so I'm fsck'd if I run out of gas. Have a service appointment for Friday.

Gas tank relying on electronics to work sounds like comething that comes out of a first year engineering group project for me.

Hope you don't run out of gas before Friday.

Let us know how they get the fuel door open.

Drive it until it's out of gas, and make them come get it. A car that doesn't lock properly is broken down; saying "wait until friday" is BS.
