What did you do to your Regal today?

Replaced the rusty nasty looking sunroof air deflector and did a how to write up.

Thanks for the write up!

Took it for a long ride a couple of days ago and it got plastered with bugs. So I gave it a good wash and dry tonight. This car is still like new.

Picked up my new used '19 Sportback from the dealer. Said goodbye to the C-Max. Wife got a bit weepy over that. It was the car we had our first dates in.

I feel that. It was the same when my girlfriend's Honda Fit pretty much died, and the same when I sold my Kia Forte Koup. Lotta good memories in those rides.

lol, thanks for making me feel OLD!

Man, I know I'm feeling old, I didn't know what a C-Max was, had to Google it.
My daughter just sold her 2007 Ford Focus, it was falling apart, her boyfriend ran it into the ground!

How do you like the 2019 Buick Regal Sportback?
I'm currently driving a 2020 Buick Regal Essence Sportback as a Loaner car while my 2015 Regal is being repaired.
There are a lot of things I like on the Car, but there are also things I don't care for.
The Sportback (Hatchback) is the first think on my list of things I don't like!

I replaced the low profile tires and 20 inch wheels that came on my 2012 GS, and replaced them with 18 inch wheels with tires to match. I know many of us here love the low profile tires, but I was so tired of getting flats and even having to replace the tires, just from damage while doing mundane things like entering a Quick Chek parking lot. And the driving experience (just getting around town) did not feel right to me with the low profile tires. The new wheels with the tires pre-mounted were purchased from Tire Rack, and as advertised, they do clear the front brembos. The scratches on the right are an old injury, and not related to the replacement of the wheels and tires.

The Sportback (Hatchback) is the first think on my list of things I don't like!

The C-Max was a good car for me. 100,000 mi in a little over 5 yrs. No major issues; just wear and tear items. If they still made them, I'd likely buy a new one.
The thing that attracted me to the Sportback was the huge hatchback. Without a pickup, I need something with the room to haul "stuff". I'm liking it so far. A bit disappointed in the lack of interior storage. Door bins are small, glove box is worthless except for the owner manual, and back seat pockets are undersized as well. I like the way it handles, the power, the smooth ride, the dash layout - everything within easy reach.

Wasn't the C-Max called something else before the Focus, wasn't it the Escort?
Chrysler use to do that, they relabeled their cars, for instance the LeBaron became the Seabring.

I don't really care for the Hatchback (think it's the look of the rear end of the car).
I'm not so sure there is more room in the Hatchback than there is in my 2015 with the Trunk.
The Opening is a bit bigger on the Hatchback, making it easier to get bigger things in,
but my seats flop down just as they do in the 2020.
Is that Cover Removable? If so the Hatchback may actually have more room!

Picked up my 2015 Buick Regal Premium I today and dropped off the 2020 Buick Regal Essence AWD Loaner Car.
I was sad to see the Brand New Car go, but felt much more comfortable in my 2015 Buick Regal.

C-Max was a model all by itself. Built from 2013-2017. Originated from their European division and was brought to the US. It was offered only as a hybrid or plug in. It may have been built on the Focus chassis. I liked the cargo capacity and that it sat up a bit higher.

I did read something that said it replaced the Focus.
I didn't get into the article enough to read where it said it was a Hybrid.
That's what I get for only skimming thru the articles!

Coilovers are finally here. A little late in the season to install, so ill be waiting till next year. Too bad though, really wanted to slam the shit of out the regal this year. Put my wheels up for sale also. If they go, they go. If not, ill run them again next year.

Going to also fix the chrome delete on my driver door, as the BUM who tried to jimmy my door open ripped up all the paint, leaving some gaps. Will fix before the winter and snow comes.

I tore the Part of my Dash apart that harbors the Touchscreen/AC-Heat Controls/CD Player yesterday.
I needed to remove the HMI so I could send it in to White Automotive.
It's only been three months since I Installed the HMI and I'd already forgotten how much fun that was the first time.
I'm so glad that I didn't list and Sell my Old NG 2.0 HMI, as I popped it back in so everything would work until
White Automotive returns the NG 2.5 HMI I sent in today.
I still get to have all this fun again once it arrives back here, tearing the whole dash apart again!

I did give me Regal a quick wash today, still lot of Dirt and Dust in the air and it all seems to end up on my car!
They are still working on the Sewers in our Housing Addition and even though our Street is done, they've been
driving up and down our street with their Dirty Equipment and the Loads of Dirt and Stone they have in their Scoops!
Below is a photo of what my street looked like in Mid-April, it was this way most of the winter!
Pretty hard to keep a car clean around here!

bugspop1,
BTW, I do like your Grill.

I replaced my DRL's about 8-9 months ago.
IMO they do look better.
I know mine were Sylvania, not sure if they were the Zevo or not, don't remember?

AI also replaced the Headlights with LED and the Fog Light too!
Boy do those LED Headlights make a difference.
Haven't driven in a Fog yet, so really haven't driven with the Fog Lights On.
The Headlights and Fog Lights were purchased on Ebay , the Bulbs were Auxito.
Even though the (Left) Picture was a Picture they supplied on the Auction, believe me, it's a true representation.
Picture on the Right is my Regal with the Led Headlights on.

forgot to post, but I installed a set of Auxito fog lights about a week ago. They are super bright compared to stock. Thanks for the recommendation!

You're very welcome.
I should have warned you that you may have to swap over the O-Rings.
The O-Ring that came on my Fog Lights was too thick and wouldn't allow the Fog Light to slide
all the way in and lock in place.
They sent me an Email a couple of days later stating I may need to swap over the O-Rings, but I put them in
the day I got the Fog Lights.
The seller did apologize and said the New Stock had been fixed, but what I ended up getting was Old Stock.
Old Stock wasn't a problem for me, they worked great once I got them put in.
Although it was the middle of January when I was laying in my driveway!

The Headlights are Great too, I can actually see at night while driving with them.

I had a Package Come today, it was my fixed HMI Module from White Automotive.
As soon as I got home with the package I tore apart my car and Installed the Fixed
NG 2.5 HMI.
I now have Android Auto in the Settings, don't have an Android Phone right now to Check it with
but at least it's showing up in Setting now where it wasn't before!
My car is all put back together inside, hopefully I'm done this time, this was the Third time tearing it apart!

Do you have an estimate for the rear fender panel repair? That's painful looking. 😕
