Hi, first off, sorry, I know there was a thread on this in August but it was completely sidetracked and never landed on a confirmed answer.

I'm planning to sell my car and buy a TourX in a month or so, but I'm in Colorado, so I'd really, really love to be able to add another inch or two to my ground clearance. Has anyone managed this yet or, conversely, found that it's an impossibility? It's probably my last reservation that might have me looking elsewhere, and I'd much rather end up in the Buick.

I don't recall anyone pulling this off. But with that said I can't imagine it is impossible, just a matter of how much you want to spend. I believe the original Outback wagons just used simple spacers in the suspension to get the lift over a Legacy wagon. I would think spacing the struts/shocks would be fairly straightforward an potentially DIY depending on your skills but the springs would likely need an adjustable perch.

There was an interesting thread about a lift kit a while back:

The thread has photos of a lifted Tourx advertised at an Atlanta dealer, and links to a company in Germany that sells spacers that fit our Regals:

I would love to know if anyone has actually installed a lift kit on the Tourx and how it changes the driving dynamics.

Right, but the conclusion on that Atlanta car was just that it had larger tires on making it appear lifted while not actually being lifted. Really curious if anyone has put the spacers on.

Still valid question.

Has anyone lifted a TourX without 1300Euro worth of Spaccers 🙂

I would like to know about this also, about to pull the trigger on a 2019 TourX.
