I agree with you there. In many ways, the EU standards are more stringent and up-to-date. More of a CYA statement than anything. We live in the Land of Sue afterall 🤷♂️. And good point, maybe just buy one for the side without the booster now, and the second later. Keep the invoice totals under the wife's radar 😉Doubt you trade much on safety, it isn't like these were some standard headrest from a developing nation, I would trust the EU standards.
Maybe when my son is out of his booster I will pull the trigger on these. Right now it would just be a waste when that blocks half your view.
Wanna start a club? lolI am going to be so broke... 🤣
Not sure if Opel has the same colour as our shale interior though. So, I might not be that broke yet. (Still broke, just not that broke) 🤣I agree with you there. Opel has the same color as our shale. I have leather and installed the Opel headrests last year. Opel Part Numbers for your Sport Tourer should be some side byside photos in that thread as well. I ordered 2016 Chevy Malibu GS headrests I found on ebay. Got them for 60$ shipped for the pair. Don't mind the 2 indentations on the photo. I just pulled them from the box and installed them. Once they heated up from the sun the indentations went away. They are like brand new and look just like the opel ones. I can grab a better photo at some point. This was from awhile ago.I really want the headrests... but can’t find Blitzparts or Adrian’s contact info. Does anyone know if he’s still shipping to the US? Do you recommend any other companies/individuals that ship Opel parts to the US? (Just picked up a 2018 GS last week. New to this forum.)
Good find! I know I paid a bit more than that for the Opel ones in beigeI ordered 2016 Chevy Malibu GS headrests I found on ebay. Got them for 60$ shipped for the pair. I haven't sat in the back to try them. They look better and less obtrusive when looking in the rear view out the back window. Let's you see out the full back window. Are they more comfortable?
I'm giving a try to the ones that came off of Lacrosse. Hopefully they will fit🤞. Looks like color will match too.I haven't sat in the back to try them. They look better and less obtrusive when looking in the rear view out the back window. Let's you see out the full back window.
