ASS went away?

Thats too bad.

I’m not sure if any mentioned but your battery is toast. It needs to be replaced.

I am hoping to get it replaced under warranty, before bumper to bumper ends...
If my ASS had not thought hood has been open for years it probably would be toast.

I don’t think batteries or brakes are covered under the bumper to bumper (even though those items are between the two bumpers.) Same goes for tires.

The battery should be covered. When I was experiencing the same issues my dealer replaced the battery and the problem was solved.

Mine has been replaced twice under warranty

So, do you approach the service people simply saying ASS went away, or saying the battery is toast so ASS goes away?

Dealer replaced my two year old battery under warranty .Whether under B to B or battery warranty, I don't know.
I dont think OEM battery has any warranty besides the B to B coverage. I have not looked at battery to see if its a AC Delco like provided with most GM cars from factory.

My ass is still there, though I did ask the dealership to check my battery last time I got an oil change. They charged me $36 and told me it was fine. I probably should have done the battery test at advanced auto parts or Autozone for free. Lesson learned.

Did they ask you to bend over to do a free ASS check

No, but they did look at my DIC (to get the odo reading)

While we’re at it, did anyone notice the different acronym GM used for the Silverado EV acceleration at the CES reveal?) Instead of watts to freedom (WTF) as in the Hummer, it’s wide open watts (WOW). Based on what I saw, I’m probably switching from the Lyriq to the Silverado EV as my next vehicle (all subject to change as I will invariably change my mind). I’ll never buy a first year model, so it will likely be in 2024.

I kinda like the What The F. acronym better.
The Chevy $105k price tag makes the Hummer MSRP seem much more reasonable. Hopefully they are locked into price quoted for my reservation for a second edition model with no addendum add on. Was gonna cancel but it makes me think will keep both pickup and SUV reservation. If inflation keeps making cash worthless I will try to give them some worthless paper.

If ford dealerships are any indication they are tacking on $5k+ on the price of their Lightning allocations. I imaging Chevy dealers will do the same early on. I’m waiting to configure mine as I want it, not fully loaded.. hoping for a trail boss instead of RST.

I can't get over the fact that the new Hummers are 9046 lbs.

There will be bridges those can't cross b/c weight.

Saw Ford came out with statement that said kinda what GMC VP announced that dealers could not sell for more then MSRP

I guess the cost per ton will be a way of rationalizing purchase.

Guess it is my turn for the battery.
Trickle charged it to full on Sunday. Took it out for a drive today with the temperature at 51 F.
The ASS never kicked in the entire trip of about 20 miles.
Looked in the owner's manual and can't find the battery is covered under warranty even though it is between the bumpers. 🤣
