2018+ Regal: All Things Accessories

Possibly. Nothing a little closed cell foam can’t fix. Every panel I remove gets a little CCF before I reinstall it.
Can you show us your part and the technique?
What size is it?
Sticky on one side?

Damn! That’s sexy fasho’! I tend to favor gunmetal with black, but those look much better!
Thanks! They just released the gloss black recently.

Sure. I’ve been using Noico Red 150mil. It’s peel and stick. They also make the same product in a 315mil, but it’s probably too thick to use on trim panels.

Noico is a Russian product. I highly doubt they are funding Putin’s war effort, but I felt it was worth noting.

Here’s a link to Noico Red 150…

Affordable Alternative to Dynamat at a Fraction of the Cost. Why pay more for a sound mat? Great product at a great price.

Noico, MAT66, ‎KILMAT brands of car sound deadening mats are made in Russian Federation.

The product is thicker than the others, is easy to install, offers an excellent price, provides fantastic soundproofing and noise absorption, and is effective for every type of weather. Zero scent/vapors

I didn’t know MAT66 and KILMAT were Russian too. I’ve been really happy with Noico so far and I can’t wait to hear the finished product. I had to shut down my project for the winter months and I’m about ready to get back on it.

Looks like you did a good job on the trunk. Did you do the trunk walls too?

I did both trunk walls and liftgate with MAT66.

On the other end, Siless Car Sound Deadening mats are made in Ukraine... They look the same except the 80 mil Siless is thinner than the 80 mil and it weighs 40% less than Noico with the same description of 80 mil Kilmat.

My door storage bins have made it to Smyrna, TN and I expect to receive them by Friday. They’re a couple of days late, but that’s not too bad coming from Chy-na.
I received my door storage bins yesterday and I love them! They fit really snug, which was a concern because I didn’t want them to rattle when the subs beat up. I’d say it was $33 well spent.

The heads up display seems like it could be done fairly easily by using the factory location for an aftermarket projector. I need to look into it further to be sure. Amazon sells several HUD’s and a couple of them are highly regarded. I believe an aftermarket solution would be much cheaper and provide additional functionality which is not available with the OEM HUD.
I'd like your (and everyone's thoughts) on installing a HUD, that was almost a deal breaker for me when I found out this car did not have it. The collision warning red light thing that flashes is nice but not what I'd call a great use of space/technology.

White's can enable the GS guage cluster to be HUD compatible but I haven't read about anybody doing the rest of it. It'd be expensive unless you had a GS parts car and then other programming/enabling might be needed. The windshield probably has to be replaced as well to get a clear image (my Saab 9-5 with HUD the windshield was special that way so HUD projected image wouldn't be a little blurry). I noted when I was looking the GS with HUD does have a different part number for the windshield.

After looking at it myself when I did the GS cluster upgrade my thoughts are if I really want a car with a HUD then I should buy a different model car that has it and the handful of other niceties TourX sadly lacks.

Center console armrest cover: I searched here and found a couple of options then when to the internet to see what was there. Found these folks who make covers out of Daytona, FL. I like doing business local and US made when I can so thought I'd give them a try with a light tan fleece cover. They also sell through Amazon for about a $1 more. Picture isn't a Regal but what is sent is supposed to be tailored for the car. Buick Regal TourX Auto Center Armrest Console Lid Cover

Those things are ugly. They look like to be made with bath mat.

From the photo it looked at least as good as the terry cloth towel I use now but I'll know for sure in a few days. Neoprene was the other option of which I'm not a big fan how it feels against skin when using as an armrest.

That’s the same one I bought and I love it! It matches my black interior well. It’s soft, well-made, and the elastic band keeps it nice and tight. It’s made of fleece. I don’t think it looks cheap at all.

I'm overall pleased with it. Wasn't pricey, color match is decent, ez on ez off, seems to be well made, more comfortable as an armrest. It looks better than the towel I was using.

Yes it’s much better than a towel!

After 5 months the elastic on mine is still nice and tight.

I see you have a smartphone pocket too. Did you get the console organizer made by the same guy? It’s sweet!

I did got the console organizer as well from same guy on here. Both are well done and must haves, IMO.
