For what is worth, we may actually be able to buy the real map update for white needle. As you know the web site just always said our map was up to date. Finally Buick has responded to my complaints and the web site now says basically coming soon (March) "out of stock"...
MY MSG TO Buick:
Have 2018+ Infotainment 3.0. Please fix your web site that map updates are available yearly. Every forum knows that we still have no map updates 5 years later. This just makes GM look very bad with false statements...

It's established fact you can update the white needle maps already. Buy the map update for a 2021 CT5 Cadillac (there are other cars it applies to as well but that is what I used). I've bought one for my TourX and later one for my Sportback from the official Navidisc site- both validated and work flawlessly.

L J is a legend on these forums.

Ancient TourX mythology handed down many generations claims that L J set the TourX land speed record in his red needle thus sparking the debate whether or not red needles are faster than white needles.

Like Voldemort, we NEVER speak his name.... instead we type it... using a capital "L" and "J" with a space in-between.

If you have this "OnStar Nav" icon, that means your vehicle does not have the onboard navigation system.
It only has OnStar turn by turn or Android Auto/Apple CarPlay.


The onboard navigation system's icon just reads "Nav" like this picture.

Hey Arbe! any chances that you could share image of this EU card and CID? I've imported Regal GS to Poland and I only have US card. I'm using mainly google maps so I don't care if maps are updated, but it's annoying when in default view on the radio with GPS on half of the screen my position is in the middle of nowhere 😉

Yeah it was Onstar Nav. Which didn't bother me much as I use Waze but it was the point of it. My 20 has the independent NAV.

Thanks, I also bought the update from another source. Just think we should keep GM on a update pace and help non-forum users...

We may be talking different websites, but GMnavdisc.navigation.com says, "At this time, the map you are currently using is the latest version available today" again for Buick Regal 2018

That has been the standard garbage answer we have seen since day 1.
I even contacted HERE for an answer and got the same useless response. 😑

This card is missing the hidden 'ADCKJZ_DRACDS_VANELET_ERUTANGIS_DENALI.SIN.sys' file that most of my previous version cards had 😒
...so, i'm guessing right off the bat this will be rejected - not sure how i can control that problem before inserting it in the vehicle.

They sent it with the labels unattached, so they're not insinuating that it's an original.

Not sure if i have any option at this point, but to stick it in there expecting to report back to the AliExpress seller that it's dysfunctional.

Yeah, DON'T buy this one. This card doesn't even have the right data on it at all 😵
The ad & label read 86531529, but the data on the card is from v 85618592 - a complete hack & fail 😒
I just realized i had bought & returned a bad card from this same source early last year

GMnavdisc.navigation has the newest #86531529 for $100+ now. I'll let y'all know how that goes...
